White House Tour and ZooLights

This weekend was very busy for me but so good!

I was able to tour the White House on Saturday. The tour was self-guided through the East Wing, the China Room, East Room, Blue Room, Red Room and State Dining Room.

I love Christmas so much and was really happy to get to go during the Holiday season when it was decorated so wonderfully.

Then on Sunday, I went to see the ZooLights with several friends. It was the first time I had been since living in DC. It started out rainy but that didn’t last long. It was a really great evening with new and old friends. It’s true that laughter is cleansing and renewing.

I’ll be going home to Cali this year for Christmas then spending New Year’s Eve in Chicago with my brother. I can’t even begin to express my excitement.

Hope everyone’s holiday is terrific, cheerful and full of wonderful memories.
