So, I got tickets to the President’s Inauguration Speech. I get to stand in that green area. DC will be madness all weekend but I have decided to brave it, for what I’m assuming is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. If 4 or 8 or 12 years from now, I get to do it again with a better view, I may kick myself for standing in the cold for hours on Monday. But since I can’t predict the future, I’ll go this time, assuming it’s the only time I’ll be able to.

Here’s hoping Monday is warmer than predicted!
